About NJFBC | History
The New Jersey Federation of Black Charities (NJFBC)
was incorporated and organized by the African American Fund of New
Jersey (formerly the Black United Fund of New Jersey) in 1993 as
a statewide network
of charitable non-profit agencies/organizations.
The purpose was
to provided assistance in their fundraising efforts that would
enable them to develop
and run constructive and
creative programs within the African American community.
Since 1994, NJFBC has gained access to the Workplace
Charitable Payroll Campaigns on both the federal level - Combined
Federal Campaign (CFC) - and the state level - NJ Public Employee
Charitable Campaign (NJSPECC).
